The Super Voter Team Has a Busy October!

October was a BUSY month for our Super Voter Team. We had great turnout for the Atlanta Pride Parade with over 20 marchers. We also had a booth at the weekend-long festival where we handed out endorsement fliers, sold merchandise from our new store, hosted meet and greets with our endorsed candidates, and collected over 1,000 pledges to vote!

Only a week later, we were in Savannah for their pride celebration. We started the weekend with a town hall hosted by Georgia Equality’s Gender Inclusion Organizer, Chanel Haley. She gave updates on work that has been done over the past year to support the transgender and non-binary community.

Our Super Voter Team rounded out October by marching in the Little 5 Points Halloween Parade and handing out over 500 endorsed candidate fliers along the parade route. Many parade participants were proudly wearing their ‘I’m a Georgia Voter’ stickers.

A huge thank you to our volunteers! We have never seen such enthusiasm around a midterm election. We are proud to see LGBTQ Georgian and our allies stand up and demand a better future. Thank you for raising your voices in celebration this October!
