February 7: A Community Discussion: HIV in Black Atlanta

Join Georgia Equality, State Representative Park Cannon, the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus and the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS for a community conversation in honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

February 8: AIDSWatch in Georgia 2018HIV Advocacy at the Gold Dome

Over 54,000 people living with HIV live, work and thrive in every legislative district across our state, but many state lawmakers are unaware of the issues that affect our diverse communities. This event will provide attendees with an opportunity to talk one-on-one with their representative in the House and Senate about issues like HIV criminalization, education, prevention/care funding, healthcare access, LGBTQ rights, racial and reproductive justice.
