A big night for Georgia Equality’s Endorsees

We must stand together against all forms of hate

The Georgia Equality family sends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and community grieving the tragic loss at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA this weekend.

We honor the lives of the victims by adding our voice in opposition to anti-Semitism, and standing firmly with the Jewish community so that a tragedy like this doesn’t happen again.

We’d also like to voice our sadness at the news of the shooting occurring during the Briss of newly adopted boys of a gay couple. Events like this have become all too common for our communities, and we must stand together against all forms of violence.

Those wishing to attending a memorial with Atlanta’s Jewish community are invited to Congregation Bet Haverim for a vigil on Tuesday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m.

We will continue to fight until all of us can live our lives free of the fear of violence or persecution because of who we love or how we celebrate our faith.
