March 2016 Updates from TransAction Georgia

Last month:

Last month, Chanel Haley, GE’s Transgender ChanelInclusion Organizer had the opportunity to present Trans* 101 Competency trainings to police officers serving as LGBT Liaisons for the East Point Police Department, and one LGBT liaison from Missouri in partnership with Atlanta Police Department LGBT Liaison, Officer Eric King.

Also, Chanel was excited to present to the Atlanta Prime Timers, a social organization that provides older gay and bisexual men the opportunity to enrich their lives. Check out coverage of Chanel’s talk by clicking here.

Chanel will be teaching a lecture at Emory University on March 31 “Violence is a public problem”
