Savannah’s LGBT Community Opening A New Door

The establishing of a LGBT Center in Savannah is yet another in a long list of accomplishments that First City Network has played a part in over the past 32 years. Georgia’s first and oldest LGBT organization, FCN, has promoted equality, educated the public, nurtured networking, and advocated for fairness and the elimination of discrimination. The organization has developed outstanding program capacity and managed multiple funding streams. In this era of organizations and agencies closing their doors, FCN, and it’s partners Savannah Stand Out Youth, Transgender Education and Empowerment, Savannah Pride, Georgia Equality, and The Georgia AIDS Coalition, is opening, with your help, a new door – to the Savannah LGBT Community Center.
